Christmas Day Visits

Due to the extremely dire Covid-19 situation in Swansea we have decided that Hillside will need to move into another period of Full Lockdown. All but essential visits must therefore stop from today, 20^th December 2020 (the individuals who had booked for today will have been contacted directly incidentally). This latest lockdown will last for an initial four weeks and I will write to all families again in late January 2021 to provide a further update.

I do apologise for having to implement another lockdown, especially at this festive time of year. However, the situation is so bad in the locality that we must do everything possible to reduce the risk of this dreadful disease entering the care home. Given the extremely high contagion rate at the moment we just cannot take this increased risk, even with all of the testing and risk mitigation measures that we have put in place.
